Baseball at Everyday PE
Congratulations to Coach Littlefield and the PAL Giants for winning the Major League Championship. Coach Littlefield's squad was an impressive team, sticking together through the good times and bad to end up the top team in Plainville! Hats off to Coach and his team for a great season!
I am particularly proud of this team, as a majority of them played for me on our Everyday PE Fall team, amd then continued on to participate in the Everyday PE Winter Baseball Training Program. It is a group of boys who defined what "hard work and dedication" mean, as they committed themselves to becoming the best they could be.
The Fall team did not win many games as we had several rookies playing this past season. However, we did learn to play as a team while also developing some good fundamentals of the game. We had a ton of fun learning to play baseball.
The EPE Winter Training Program was a 3 month, 2 days a week program that really took these ball players to new baseball heights! Twice a week players were able to hit, throw, work on grounders, pitching...and of course, some physical conditioning. This is the place where guys like Alex Colella and Derek Roschlein started to become great players!
Again, congratulations! You guys are a good example to others that "anyone" can become great...if you work hard and dedicate yourself to improving your game.
